Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
He stopped responding over a year ago when I called Conservatives untrustworthy and unethical. I suspect he didn't like this level of "engagement".
Undaunted, I sent him this picture this morning since Hancock's emails will not be investigated despite it likely government business was discussed and he's already been accused of PPE purchase abuses

And you wonder why he stopped replying.
Made me laugh though.

I hammer Vickers (my MP) constantly about ethics and sent him another email about Dawn Butler MP who was ejected from the Commons yesterday because she accused Boris of lying. What she said was truthful and I sent numerous, validated examples of his lies. The problem here isn't Butler's breaking of Common's etiquette it's that our Prime Minister is a proven liar. Johnson’s tendency towards dishonesty is much chronicled, with a series of people who have known him commenting on what Max Hastings, his editor at the Daily Telegraph, called “his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth”. (excerpt from today's Guardian on Dawn Butler) Sorry for rant, I get quite irritated at times.

I do too, normally when I'm at work, or stuck in the car going to work or coming home.
Basically anything to do with work. I really must get my **** together and get a new job. Thinking of retraining as a plumber or sparky. Just need to figure out how. Anyhow, back to smile of the day. It is Friday after all.

They had to change the law many years ago, too many MPs in jail and H of C empty... lying is not confined to one party or MP, people only seem to object to MPs lying if they already hate them....

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Two items of news that solve their own problem:
1) Lincolnshire council have been turning off street lights at midnight to save money. 2) Theddlethorpe (Lincolnshire coast, near Mablethorpe) proposed as site for nuclear waste. So, build street light posts out of nuclear waste - they'll glow in the dark and you won't need electricity. That's my "thinking outside the box" done for today, problem solving is tiring.
