Just a couple from today. At the Nith Estuary. I didn't really appreciate how scenic this coast is. Weather was poor with high winds so poor photos. The low cloud you can see in the background meant we didn't take any photo's higher up.

Big wide vistas there Lom, nice.

A few from yesterday. Zipped up to the Lakes and met my mate Mick at Kendal. After our customary Morrisons all day breakfast, we spent the day riding all the little back roads we could find. Did none of the high passes this time. Some of those tiny single track roads go to some pretty spectacular places.

One of the few main roads we rode, the A6 Kendal to Shap road.

Lowther park (and castle, I assume)

Coffee and cake.

Thirlmere.

Lakeside at the bottom end of Windermere.

Great pics Gary!
I don't know quite what it is but I do find the scenery in your corner of the world to be the most beautiful and appealing place on earth.
Stunning to say the least.

ROFL

Not so many now, (although I could use some tonight)
Got lucky, the valves were all still in spec so just needed some new pipes as the old ones were clogged.
Feel like carp for now but should be riding again in a few weeks!
No zippers or zimmers for me! (what's a zimmer?)

A few from Saturday. A very changeable day. We had a great day.

A hidden waterfall just off Loch Tummel. A little jem of a place that Bibio told me about. There's a series of 7 or 8 separate small falls. And right next to the loch an excellent spot for an org wild camping weekend.

Loch Tay and Ben Lawers in the distance.

Glen Coe from Rannock Station on a wet miserable morning. Super service at the station tea room. I asked for beans so they went home and got a tin.

when the x ray department tell you its ok then you can go for a ride. you dont want to see what they do if you burst your sternum.

i think they call a zimmer in the US a walker.
