Re: The Mega (AR09) thread.
Morning all!
I dont think its actual complaining, But peeps with other ideas about the route , food , riding in 'fast' & 'slower' groups , distance beetween breaks etc. Sally , Vox & co. have taken alot of time sorting all this out ... After all its mainly social event ... there are plenty of local rideouts during the year for more of a fast paced ride I am really looking forward to it ! Re: The Mega (AR09) thread.
Having received a PM from Sally yesterday, I resent the accusation that I was complaining. I have made one and only one post in this thread where I said that I thought there was one too many stops and therefore not enough distance between the stops. Beyond that I have joked about dissent in the ranks, even Fizz joined in that. I consider that a comment. I have not made any demands
Not once have I criticised the route, I don't know it. I agreed with her about lunch and even gave her my pre order. I have never criticised the location. I put in some comments that I actually thought would help move a large number of bikes , sorry if that upset anyone. The negativity in this thread is being chucked about that much that now simply posting here is enough to get you accused of not being with the programme. FFS this is supposed to be an ORG event, not the private fiefdom of the select few. Sod this for a game of soldiers, See you at AR10 as I am keeping well away from this one

Re: The Mega (AR09) thread.
Im reeeeeeeeeaaaaadyyyyyyyyyyy
question: for those who use throw-over panniers; can you use them with a pillion i.e. will the pillion be able to put their feet on the footpegs? If me and maria are camping (we are!!) then we'll need to bring some more luggage than last year to be a bit more comfortable, and i was considering panniers because i hate tankbags and a backpack makes maria uncomfortable Everyone come and drop by and say helllooo to us |

Lat year there was a mass pick up of stuff the week end before from The Ace

Re: The Mega (AR09) thread.
I didn't necessarily mean by the same people as last year.
Maybe someone this end could get hold of a large vehicle and transport stuff
