Crikey. That's a serious piece of kit. Not one to be carried openly by dark skinned gentlemen with straggly beards.

I probably won't take it out around town that's for sure. There is a Zenit ES on ebay which I'll bid on to replace my iffy one.

What's the lens on it?
I've got 4 films ready to put in for developing. Got another couple of half rolls to try and finish and then will put them all in together.
Fortunately, 2 places in the town will process them although I refuse to use one of them any more. (not camera related)

Yeah. I needed a 1 page pdf printing out and the guy, after printing it, wanted to charge me £2.10 for 1 A4 copy. We had a little discussion, the outcome of which was that I would never use his shop or services again

Oh yeah,I think I remember you saying about that. There is an ES body on eBay at the moment, not been on long so will keep an eye on it. It's a pretty weighty but if kit too, the Zenit bodies are quite tank like anyway. I also got a Konica 260 EE-Matic 126 rangefinder, can't figure out how to open it. I spotted a roadside table top sale while riding so pulled over. Couple of old points shoots but he said he had about a hundred cameras stashed. He took my number and will call me in a couple of weeks.

Ah the legendary photosniper, doesn't it need a cable release to connect to the trigger, or maybe I just can't see it?

Nope, it uses a modified baseplate and internals to fire the shutter from the base. Mates up with a pin on the stock to alllow firing from the trigger. That's why I need the ES on ebay. Any Zenit with a S after the name is usually modified and is probably from a photo sniper kit.
