A roll of Ilford Pan F+ 50 fresh out of the the developing tank. Just drying and will scan later. Shots taken around Bury St Edmunds with a Kodak Brownie Six 20 D. This is the very useful car port sink, means I don't get in the way in the kitchen or have to lean over the bath.

Nice to have your own little darkroom space. The results are good too, first one is really clear.
Did the Stanley knife play any part in this?

No, I was cutting down a pin for something I had 3D printed and stabbed myself. I think the Brownie would be better off with 100 ish film, maybe some Fomapan. The previous owner had the sink installed so they could use the car port as a greenhouse, proves very useful to me.

I put 4 films on for processing at the weekend. Still another 3 unfinished in different machines.
Starting to think seriously about what to take away with me this year. It'll have to have some kind of auto so I guess it's either the Om2 or a Minolta. Do I take one walkaround lens like a 35-105 or 35-135, or a higher end zoom plus another zoom or a 28/35/45 prime? Md lenses or Zuikos?

I tend to go with compactness, I rarely use zooms but a 35-70 might prove useful. I mostly have primes on my slr cameras. The OM2 is pretty small, or are you thinking of the X700? For snapshots you could always take the XA (cannot remember which one you have) pocketable and very quiet shutter.

Maybe a zoom and a fast prime (f1.4 or whatever you have) in case you want to shoot in low light

Friend of ours messaged me today, she has an OM1n she's going to give me, hasn't used it for years, just got to meet up sometime. In other news, Harrisons camera shop in Sheffield had a Fuji X20 for £150, it's gone now but I was looking into it as the only camera we really have is my daughter's Fuji snapper (F11 I think) which isn't bad but wondered about something better. X20 has a viewfinder, and while I wouldn't be giving it to her for that sort of money, she could use it and see if it helps her more than the back screen. Anyway the X20 sold so I am wondering whether to look for something similar or something else, no idea about digital cameras!

I had to look the X20 up as I hadn't seen it before. Is it a fixed lens? Or is it Mirco four thirds? Can't quite figure it out. You will like the OM1n, its such a compact but uncomplicated camera. I had picked up a damaged black OM1 and used some parts to fix another OM1 MD but then decided to transfer over the black parts to the silver (working) OM1 MD. Some parts I haven't been able to transfer such as the rewind release dial and I could swap over the self timer lever but I won't. I also had to transfer over the power switch as they are different. Call it pimped up, but it matches my quartz OM10. The black OM1 kept hanging up during the shutter cycle and it had a broken mirror, but at least I have some spares. Johnny, if your upcoming OM has prism problems then I have a spare you can have, I also have battery covers.
