The batteries are only to power the flash, I haven't looked into the battery chamber yet though, hate to think what I will find given the state of the cover. Shutter now works which is good, I have another photo showing how far out the lever was. I managed to find a reasonably cheap OM2n to Rob for spares, will try new batteries in it first as the shutter keeps hanging apparently.

A great little camera if you can be bothered with guesstimate focus. 372430867927

Got the Koni 260 back together. Finally found the sweet spot for screwing the lens back in. Just need to check rangefinder alignment next.

Another addition to my collection. Bought this off a customer.

Nice one, not had the pleasure of seeing one in the flesh. Don't really need another slr, but should really try for the set!

I've just discovered it's got focus assist with led's in the bottom of the viewfinder.

I haven't seen one of those either. Maybe they are rarer than other OMs. Wasn't that one a first attempt at autofocus with certain lenses? Good find though. I wonder how accurate the focus assist is?

I don't think the OM30 was a great success as it was outclassed by Minolta's AF cameras at the time. From my brief tests it seems to work quite well with the 50mm. The matching AF lens was a 35-70. I'll have to see if I can find one.

This is getting frustrating. The OM2n MD I bought as faulty (sticking mirror) and that I was going to strip for spares is fully functional. Fresh batteries inside and it works fine. So, I still need a rewind crank and battery cap for the other OM2n.
