Re: Vintage film cameras
Some pics form my Konica S; there weren't really any decent ones from the Super A. I was using either a Pentax 28mm f2.8 or Hoya (same), neither are really good. Will have to find a better wide angle lens for it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Looks like you did a good job on the rebuild. Pretty decent colour, What film did you use? Speaking of which, half frame and a project all in one 382596832319

Re: Vintage film cameras
It's only the second roll I've put through it but it's a great camera. Contrast is rather high but I went for process and scan not print, first time I've done that, and you could PP it anyway. It's Poundland film. One thing I find is I'm not used to the moving frame lines (parallax correction) so I tend to ignore them and sometimes the framing is wonky. I checked it out and the frame lines are accurate, I'm more used to SLR or the Zeiss RFs - with the latter the VF is in the centre anyway, and all you have for close-up pics are a pair of marks so you crop a bit off the top of the VF, which works very well (typical!). Definitely my favourite camera at the moment.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not sure I'm ready for a project or a half frame! Can't remember what's wrong with your Certo, is it the missing focus scale stop? Could you use parts form this? 292781241142

Re: Vintage film cameras
I know you like scale focus Kenzie, dunno if you have one of these, they are tiny, even smaller than the Contessa 35: 202473928608

Re: Vintage film cameras
Brilliant, been looking for one of those. The Certo is missing the focus stop and had a massive light leak, will dig it out and have another look at it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I reckon the shutter is the same as the Certo, and these things tend to be in more or less standard sizes

Re: Vintage film cameras
I missed out on the Welta. I have waited ages for another Yashica Sequlle to pop up on ebay and now there are two. Got a bid in as I wasn't able to repair my one.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I saw one of those, thought of you but couldn't remember the story on yours. There is a pair of Kodaks going, a Autograph or something, and a Retina II with Ektar 47mm f2 lens - they seem to have gone in the past for about £200. I'll be keeping an eye on that one! 153227069674

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yeah, its truly dead. Got a bid in on a Pentax 50mm f1.4 as well. That looks a nice pair, the 35mm are smaller that you think, I quite enjoyed shooting mine. Still got a nearly finished roll in the Lomo LC-A to finish, and a few shots in the Canon sureshot a1.
