kept quiet on this post so far BUT come on does anyone actually buy that ****! not having a go at the police in general but certainly this group of officers seem intent on digging a bigger and bigger hole for themselves. Defo need to seek legal advice here me thinks, and like a few others have said on the forum here if it came to it I'd also be more than willing to chuck a few quid in to pay a solicitor tho i find it hard to believe some wouldnt relish this particular fight?

Ditto on the cash point, I'm sure an org whip round would help!

Ha...! I knew this would happen...the dirty b*stards. I'm actually surprised that when they realised their mistake, they didn't just buy a cheap full power ECU off eBay and plug that instead to cover up their f*ck-up. Wouldn't trust any of their claims whatsoever.

I think you will find there is a subtle difference between hoping you can get away with something and blatant dishonesty.

Just read through the whole post...

This sounds like a classic case of **** covering by the Police involved.

"Ahem, yes your bike is over 33bhp...honest...no really it is..."

Think about it from the Policemans point of view. "Oh F**k, i've made a mess this time, how do i get him to go away quietly?"

Great advice and support from our resident coppers though!

I dunno I reckon trying to sting someone for £150 PLUS telling them they need to spend £200 on getting their already restricted bike restricted goes beyond blatant dishonesty and well into "just a proper c*nt" territory.

Especially when the alternative is just a slightly red face and probably a rollocking from a superior.

If they have got it wrong why can't they just hold their hands up and say sorry. Do that and they'd get far more respect than this apparent charade.

We all make mistakes but its how we behave when we get it wrong that is more important than how we behave when we get it right.
