Re: Vintage film cameras
Looks nice! Don't worry about it, I'm not (really) looking for anything. As usual.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Have you guys received an email from Flickr? Free accounts are being limited to 1000 photos or vids instead of the 1tb you used to get. Have asked them if you would have to delete something if you hit the limit before being able to upload something new. Either that or you have to go pro which is $49.99 a year.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'll have to check how many I've uploaded. I picked up a Pen D with a slight issue. Blades have jumped the actuator ring. Got it totally stripped down and need to rebuild it, only thing is it's missing a detent ball, so I'll have to raid the box of things.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Got the shutter on the Pen D rebuilt, aperture control ring is back on too. Just need to put the whole thing back together now.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not 100% sure, nothing is out of shape or broken in the shutter. The tell tale is the dent to the top plate, so guessing it's been dropped with the shutter ready to fire and they jumped. Shutter is back on the body, double exposure lock lever had gotten bent so gave me some grief. Checked out the listings, K2 is nice but will climb in price. The Zeiss needs attention to the shutter co.cking mechanism apparently. The Spotmatic kit looks good, isn't it a relative of the K1000?

Re: Vintage film cameras
I reckon the Zeiss problem is that it's the sprocket-cokking type and they don't understand. That also releases the shutter lock, same as on the folding Contessa. I posted the K2 as (at least earlier) there were no bids, and sometimes things start off at a higher price but get little or no attention. Not sure about the Spotmatic, it's an earlier model than the K1000 so probably. The earlier ones didn't have open aperture metering, the F onwards did/ I don't know, it just caught my eye.
