Not one to put people off having what they want, but did you hoover out your PC John? If it's dusty and running hot then that will slow the cpu. Check the heat sink is tightly bonded etc?

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Arrived into work before 5 this morning, colleague goes home and I make my breakfast.
Woke up near enough 0730 and have no idea where my porridge went, can't remember eating it. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
nice machine. tell them not to install Bullguard anti virus. windows native is good enough.
also ask what other 3rd party "bundled" software comes with it.... you dont want it... the more crap they put in it the more you have to remove and nothing ever removes 100% so takes up room on the HDD. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
SOTD; Pushing a broken down car to safety. The Lady's clutch had gone, and there was a slip road about 100m ahead. Stopped on the Bike and pushed it along. (GOTD) Meanwhile all the cars overtaking, and no one else bothering to help or stop. . . . . (except 1 car out of 40-50 in this time frame).
Pretty cream crackered after that as i was in full Bike gear (minus the Helmet). Everyone's in a rush to get somewhere, but has no time to spend time removing an obstacle which is costing them time. But no doubt if they were in that situation they'd want assistance . . . . . |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Well .. after a bit of research it seems at the time of it's unveiling Harley just got it wrong in terms of advertising campaigns etc. The Harley fraternity didn't know what to make of it, the rest of the biking world didn't take to it either as a viable alternative to what they were already riding. ! However... after only about three years production.. it was dropped. It's only after it was dropped it suddenly found favour with certain people and now are quite well sought after and subsequently hold their value very well indeed. As said ... I'd like to own one on looks alone but would like to have one for a considerably longer test ride to really make my mind up about owning one. £7-£8,000 is a fair amount to lay out on a whim!
