Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Staff...says it all really.
Someone who hasn't been in work since Jan '17, other than a brief stint in December to see if they could still work as their Doc decided they'd had enough and signed them back to work. Had meeting and they are still not able to work so the business have decided enough is enough. Today they have decided to appeal. I know it's not a nice place they are in, but we have gone above and beyond, getting specialists involved as they claim the NHS has washed their hands of them looking at making changes in the business, everything we can. And then two disciplinary meetings this afternoon. I think I may owe myself a beer, or a ride after today.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I have a K8 and I think I get water in the front plug recess. Where the hell have they hidden the drain hole? Where it used to be on older models is now the second spark plug!!

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
after 2 or 3 weeks of lousy weather (grey, cool, drizzly) on the east coast now we get an earthquake:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8391641.html Looking on the bright side...the weather is finally supposed to resume its westerly flow later this week so we (on the coast) should warm up. |

Loose chippings. The local council resurfaced part of a main road into Norwich a couple of days ago and there are loose chippings everywhere. I tried to brake as a set of traffic light changed only for the bike to slither all over the place , I had a choice; brake harder and possibly fall off or the go through the red light. I didn't fall off.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Loose Chippings - ARGHHHH - Every sodding stretch of road around here seams to be either covered or getting a covering of the sodding stuff. It does my ****ing head in. Well the cagers doing 15 mph do.
The stuff they did a couple of weeks ago is already starting to wear off. Totally pointless. What ****ing retard thought that is a good way to fix roads. And breathe - Rant mode off. |
