The K1000 is making good money at the moment so may be worth moving on. I have a couple of them but tbh I didn't really click with them. Like you say, the X700 is top of the tree so what's the point? I have two of them but only because I thought the first was dead. I do have a lot of point and shoot Agra and Kodaks that I doubt that I will use, I don't think they are worth much so may end up getting donated. Looking at my sheet, I have four OM1s, and maybe three OM2s. Don't think I need them so maybe keep the original one I bought and move the rest. Speaking of OM1s, Johnny, did you get the one promised to you? If not, then I would be happy to gift one to you. If not Admin? I could sell on the mju ii for a healthy profit but there are a lot of scammers online.

I have double figures of camera bags too. Sellers sent lots of stuff in those.
It might be worth trying to sell on Gumtree first. Maybe less chance of being scammed on there and no fees to eat into any profit.

EDIT - I just looked at K1000 prices. There's hardly anything under 3 figures!!! Blimey!

Yep, and I have two of them! I have most of the gear stashed in 80 litre tubs, got four in total.

So far, so good I haven't bought a camera since last year! Going to make this the year of shooting and saving instead of buying!

I really need to, I've probably spent 3-4k over the last three years on cameras. Would have gone a long way, even a big chunk of repairs to my camper van. I will be going through the collection and thinning out the basic point and shoots, Agfa Silettes, 126 and 127 cameras as I won't get around to shooting them. The Kiev I can send has the meter on top of you still fancy it Yoko? Anyone fancy one of the OM1s?

I don't have the OM1 yet, it's a friend we rarely see so I'll worry about it soon enough, don't worry about it Kenzie. I wasn't exactly blown away by the K1000 either, it's a bit hefty. If you're gonna sell then I don't know how long the prices will stay up for - it was only last Christmas I noticed how much they went up in December. I sold one as a bundle with a bag and a couple of lenses a while back, it didn't last long!

Probably going to shift the Ricoh KR-5 as well, it's a pretty basic slr and while there is nothing wrong with it but given how many higher spec slr type cameras I have I can't see the point of it. I will be keeping all of the Olympus, Yashica and Voigtlander gear for sure. Things like the action tracker, basic point and shoot, cheapy 110s. If there are any lurkers interested in trying a film slr I would be happy to send one out with a couple of rolls of film. Better of the basic slrs would be a Centon DF300 which is a Minolta X370 clone. Oh, and probably a Zenit em
