Is Redex cheaper than petrol yet? Can't be far off.

If BoZo's Clown Posse is sending a Boeing 767 with fewer than 11 passengers to Rwanda when it can hold 200+, the least they could do is send it via Majorca so holidaymakers with cancelled flights can still get their holidays.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The flip side to this post I made in GotD is the housing officer I'm dealing with. She is absolutely brilliant and I can't praise her highly enough.
We've just had a long chat about my housing situation, and while she admits she can't guarantee the outcome because of the way the system works, she is going to push very hard for me to be housed appropriately. She has been homeless herself in the past, went through the hostel scenario with her two young children, and understands completely what I'm saying. We need more like her in these jobs. Once my situation is sorted I will be writing to the council to remind them of just how much they should be valuing the work of people like her. |

Feels that way Lance, although I shan't be counting any chickens just yet!
Thanks Craig. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Council posts can so often be filled with jobsworth types who are marking time until retirement so I'm glad your contact is not like that Gary.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I would have to say Trev, that the three housing officers I've dealt with over the last 18 months have all been very kind and helpful. They have all really done the best they possibly can, stymied as they are by a frustratingly inflexible system.
