Scam email could just be a screen scraper that saw the sale end. I have pics on Flickr but not a lot I think. Have got to grips with the NAS now so this is our store at home. Also have cloud access (as I discovered last night) so can get in remotely.

Cool, I could do with some better home storage. Been out for a nice long walk today. Took the Zenit 3M as I couldn't lay my hands on the Kiev 4. I think I filed it away when I did the count. Oh yeah, the mju ii I was watching earlier sold for £200.I still have four days to go on mine.

Yoko, just out of curiosity, how much were you asking for the FM? I've got a split focus screen in my broken FM, would then just need a lens (the hard bit)

I hadn't really thought about a price TBH.
Bear in mind that screens in FMs are not meant to be swoppable. It is possible but its a top off and prism dismantling job from what I've read; not so easy.
I don't know how much you want to pay. WYC usually have them in but they tend to go for £150+ with a lens. Or, I saw this in a York shop window on Sunday. http://yorkcameramart.co.uk/product/...-fm-50mm-f1-8/
Taking into account FM prices, would it be worth paying to get yours fixed?

Thanks for the heads up, I may take a punt on that one ifnthe mju sells well. I've sent an email to Camserve to get an estimate, I only paid £1 for the broken one.

You could try this guy. He's got a good reputation on various forums.

One company has come back with a quote of £72 for a cla, plus I would have to add cost of the winder repair. May have to leave the black one as display only.

Any thoughts on the Pentax MX? Thinking of possible alternatives to the FM.

Thought you had an MX? Lovely camera, all mechanical, quite compact PK mount
