Re: Vintage film cameras
I enjoyed using the MX. Ab it more compact than the FM and better information in the viewfinder about exposure. But, it does feel more imbalanced with bigger lenses on.
You already have an OM1 or four. Other alternatives if you're looking for a mechanical SLR could be the Yashica FX-3, less refined but does the job, or one of the Minolta SRT series. Big, solid but needle meters and they don't use LR44s |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not sure what I want, or even if I really even need another! I could get a nice f1.4 lens for the OM or the X700 and save the rest. I don't have many Nikons in the collection which is why I was looking at the FM. Sold any of yours Yoko?

There's one bid on the 35ED. Auction finishes in an hour.

Re: Vintage film cameras
At least it sold. Did you get your money back? I did consider an Olympus XA but they are running around £100 at the moment.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It sold for £24.99. A bit disappointing as others have gone for more. Doubled the money though.
I might put the Electro 35 on ebay this weekend. I think there's another 'maximum £1 selling fees' promo coming up. Last edited by yokohama; 16-01-19 at 09:24 PM. |

Well at least you made a profit! The mju finishes tomorrow night, doing well so far.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nothing new here to report. Cameras have been moved to the spare bedroom as I'm decorating the dining room. I don't want them messed up.

Re: Vintage film cameras
We've got to get the house rewired before we look at decorating. Just had Anglia Water out due to a blocked drain. Hiya of home ownership! I did see an Olympus OM1 with 50 1.8 sell for £410 tonight, insanely high price!

Re: Vintage film cameras
That's a crazy price for an OM1.
Did the Mju get into 3 figures? |
