Re: Elan Valley Sat 19th sept.
Nice to see you all today. Not sure what happened at Knighton, I guess Brettus and Chris saw the signs for Shrewsbury and the A49 and turned right? I was planning on following Daryl along the a488 to Shrewsbury. No worries.

Yeah I thought you must have pointed that way and followed Chris, the wrong/long way around ah well, any which way is nice.
Home safe anyhoo, working on the pics now. Thanks to Daryl for an excellent day! And of course a HUGE thanks to Admin for rescuing me from my mechanical predicament! (of my own making unfortunately, loose battery connection)

Re: Elan Valley Sat 19th sept.
Got back 5.55, did stop though for 5 mins to put my sat nav on and it took me m5, m42 on way home so not too bad.
Thanks guys for a good day, It was great to meet you all, as brett mentioned, thanks to daryl for sorting it all out. 240 miles round trip for me, ass aches a bit, damn seats lol. At knighton, i just followed brett and chris as i knew they would kinda be heading my way and i just veered off to ludlow direction. After riding with you guys today, amazing how my cornering improved when riding on my own. Sorry if derailing slightly. Phil Last edited by Specialone; 19-09-09 at 05:32 PM. |

Re: Elan Valley Sat 19th sept.
Just got in, good ride home. Almost got lost around LLanfair Caereinion, but my 'nose' got me on the right road. 205 miles on the DRZ and my body knows it! A slightly achey bum. Off to walk the dog, that should sort it!

Re: Elan Valley Sat 19th sept.
I'm just processing mine, they should be done uploading soon. 25 made the cut, out of 199 taken during the day! Some good ones, some didn't work out as I'd hoped, still need to stick some of the panoramic ones together but will do those another day.
