well, I've just re-plotted this route based on Richie's suggestion on page 2, only to find that riche has posted this route (which is a bit longer and better imo)
 not sure which way round people want to do it yet, but the suggested starting/ending point at point A on both maps is the clifton moor retail park at the top of york ring road. Very well signposted from both directions of the ring road, giant tesco extra with petrol station, burger king, mc donalds etc for people wanting a bit of breakfast at the meeting point - and - a massive carpark where we can gather without getting in the way/causing a fray  (i live 5 mins from there as well so could drag myself out of bed around 20 mins before meeting )

bad news for me I'm afraid, the missus has just reminded me that we're seeing derren brown in grimsby on the saturday night... I reckon I could tag along for the first bit of the ride and then get back home for early afternoon, but I'll have to miss the rest of it... bleh fecking performance psychologists...

yeah I saw him a couple of years ago too, he picked my mate (via spotlight) but my mate ducked and there was a really awkward pause for about a minute until they went to the next person
