Then again a ss600 in good working order will virtually always fetch £2000 as there is still lots of demand. A 1998 20,000+ mile R6 will usually sell for over £2000 on ebay, so its not all bad. |

Yep. Last year there was a huge drop in bike sales in this country due to the crap weather. You can now pick up a new ZX6R for 5k. Not a good situation to be in but no point in paying insurance on a bike I'm not going to use all that much either. Besides, it makes more room for a newer, shinier bike. No doubt I will get bored of the Triple within a year and swap for a Tuono. I do have issues.

I to want to learn to wheelie. Just have to get over the fear that I will end up coming off the back!

Perhaps we should all do wheelie school? Well, those who need help at least. |

Re: New riders out there in/near Thames valley area
I think what we all really need is a ratty bike that we can practice on, that we don't mind dropping. To be more specific: SVnutter's bike

Re: New riders out there in/near Thames valley area
There are two things to consider before thinking about doing wheelies.
Are you prepared to throw your bike down the road Are you prepared to throw yourself down the road If the answer to either is no, forget it. |
