It's 10:30 at night, back from my Granddad's 90th birthday.

I'm shattered, have had no time to check the bike over, and my preparation for today has consisted of finding the paper part of my driving licence.

Can't wait, see you all tomorrow

Well other than my little mishap it was a lovely day with lots of lovely smiley faces.
Big thanks to everyone who was there and a mega big fist bump to Ogden. Top man.

You're entirely welcome.

If it's any consolation, my bike fell over in the van on the way home. A few scuffs, a trashed screen and the indicator needs putting back in.

I've just watched the video I took in the wet session. Eek.

few pics here, got some more but they are still in the topbox, when I'm feeling up to it I'll post them into the same album.

Cheers Mark.

A couple of videos from the novice group.

Dry session: http://youtu.be/E0-RXszAR-E?t=4m48s (skips warm-up lap)

Slightly wet and *very* slippery session: http://youtu.be/3Szqw1PV6xM

It was a shame to skip the final session really, as I was just starting to get the hang of the place. The short sessions (not to mention the pace of the first one and the loss of one before lunch) meant it was more of a taster day than a proper trackday. But that wet session was truly treacherous - the little shakes and shimmies in the video give no impression of how hard I was working to find rear grip. It wasn't getting any better as the session went on, so I called it quits.

Lesson finally learnt about the novices vs inters. I'll definitely have to man up next time and move up a group. The time has more than come.
