Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread
Are you Canon or Nikon? If Canon I can lend you mine to play with (LENS!) as I won't be using it for at least a month.

Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread
I've read some very good things about the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 (I believe it's the one Brettus uses). £300 - 350 mark, I guess.

Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread
wondering if anyone have good recommendations for a indoor lens , for photographing people. as I'm not a fan of flashing (its to fit a Canon 20D)
is this 50mm f1.8 ok? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-EF-50-.../dp/B00005K47X or would I be just as well off with the standard canon f/3.5-5.6 with IS? http://www.crazycameras.co.uk/index....FckTzAodpCVzKg or should I save up for this Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 w/o OS http://www.acecameras.co.uk/asp/web/.../1/product.asp cheers Last edited by Lucas; 23-02-10 at 02:28 PM. |

Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread
I am about to buy the 50mm f/1.4. Pretty much as fast as you can get without spending huge cash.
If you had a Nikon, I (and Filipe) would send you down to Grays of Westminster as they have some awesome 2nd hand lenses in stock. 10.5mm f/2.8 is next on my list. |

Re: Photo Comp - Chat Thread
It's a Sigma 105mm f2.8. I know you aren't going to pizza but let me know next time I'm likely to see you and I will bring it along.
