Trev, I think that A312 DGU no longer exists. I checked on https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ and the last record they show is that there are no MOT records and that tax was due in 2000.

Don't know if this is correct but,if the red coloured bike comes like that,I'm led to believe it's illegal in the UK for a motorcycle or car to carry a (racing number) number on display,I might be wrong but I'm sure it's correct!!!

I'm pretty sure it's legal, The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer comes with a number on the side.

There was a thread on piston heads where someone asked and was told it's fine.

I like the exhaust on the red bike, but I'm not a fan of all the shiny black plastic.
