And OK I'll be brutally honest and upfront, I wanted to have a go on it round the services too

This is going to be a BLAST!!!! Peeps we do need to be away by 10 cos it's a longer ride than usual, and the bit from here to Bala is not the fastest, except for the A5 that is.

As last year - open invite back to my place for a brew and cake

And if you do come back to mine, please be as noisy as you can cos I want to upset, irritate and offend my ar$ehole neighbours. OK?

Coming off the Berwyns, there is a fantastic double hairpin. Once we start going into the trees, and then sharply downhill, it ain't that far!!!! Beware, it's damn sharp!!! 1st or 2nd gear jobbie...

Oh and the left hander round the tippy-top of Celyn. Just you wait!!!!!!!!

Can you tell that I'm getting excited???????

Are those hairpins the one where that bloke had crashed last year?

No, officer. We're going a different route, not via the Pondy. The hairpins are coming down from the tops towards Bala, on the B4391, just before where the road joins from Pale. It's a fairly steepo downhill section too. - here:

Follow the map to bala, then up the A4212, and have a look at the Celyn bend

Ha ha that's the road where Badger nearly headbutted a truck trailer that swayed onto his side of the road. That was returning from the Barmouth ride last year, after we left you when you turned for Guilsford. **** him up real good! FYI was at the top of the hill from the hairpin.
