A68 to Riding Mill
Riding Mill to Hexham (Cafe/Fuel Stop)
Hexham to Whitfield
Whitfield to Alston
Alston to Hartside Top Cafe (Lunch Stop - covers the safe, less challenging side of Hartside - also presents an opportunity for the hooners to blat down the other side before rejoining if they eat quickly)
Return to Alston
Alston to Stanhope via stunning Weardale, through Ireshopeburn, Westgate, Eastgate
Stanhope to Barnard Castle via Eggleston
Barnard Castle to campground via Staindrop, Burnt Houses, Butterknowle

Should be about 120m with tweaks.

I was actually thinking about here !! Two wheels only even just voted it as their favourite place (on a road trip).
Looking at the regional groups - its is actually the ecosse posse that are the most active (but maybe that's just to keep warm)
