Had an e mail about this today, with a few guidelines and a link to the route.

I had a couple of questions so rang the lady organising it, and this is the nitty gritty.

People turning up on the day will definitely NOT be turned away.

There will be several groups leaving at staggered intervals. She is quite happy for us all to wait until we are together and go in the same group.

There are two rest/pee/drink/fag stops. One at Melton railway station, the other at Bruntingthorpe where, if we like, we can go round the track. That is cooler than a polar bears dangly bits, don't you think?

This is looking to be a great day, and as our beloved B664 is also on the route, I can't wait.

I don't know which of these it'll be.

TBH I will wait and see on the day. The people at Bruntingthorpe may change their minds about the track bit, although as of now it is still a go-er.

From what Jo was saying, freebie!

I would imagine it'll only be one lap, but Hey, so what!
