Really great shots its not somewhere I'd think of going to but it looks a lovely place.

How was the seat on the bike Mel? They look a bit wooden to me, dont seem to have much cushioning?

The seat didn't bother me at all. We made numerous stops so my bum didn't get the chance to get numb.

The tour was for 14 days long.

Petrol stop in Queenstown. Petrol is much cheaper there. Equivalant of around 50p per litre.

My first ever pillion. . . . . . . . . . .. . of sorts. Went off for a quick spin. I did the gear changes while he did the clutch, throttle and brakes. LOL. Good thing there were no police about.

Thanks MYC. That's one of my favourite ones too.

I found the heat unbearable on the third day when temperatures soared to 39 celcius. It was unbearably hot and humid but with the lining out of the textiles it was much more comfortable. In the second week the weather was very variable. One morning we were high up in the mountains and it was cold, 15 celcius, very foggy and raining.
