No, it requires having no life for a while. The exams aren't easy, they just don't require any common sense.

All this said, I did have to ask a lass what a word meant during a serious conversation (IIRC) the other week. I kicked myself extra for it because I knew in the back of my mind it just wouldn't click when she said it

I also work with a guy who didnt know where beef came from. Best bit was, when we told him it came from cows, he came back with 'Yeah right, I'm not stupid you know, milk comes from cows, not beef'

He also didn't know hamburgers were made from beef. When we asked him where he thought hamburgers came from the reply was 'France'.
