That's what I thought about my old steel Colnago, I thought I'd be lucky to get a £100 for it, put it on Ebay and got over £350 for it

Crazy, but that's how I got the Wilier, as that was the best Ebay bargain I've ever had at just over £500. Nearly new, just few miles on it. Bloke didn't like the colour!

I dont think it was the design, they developed a reputation for the frames cracking in the bottom bracket / chain stay area, I think that was more due to manufacturing problems with the magnesium ( sp ) though...

Anyways... I dont think the OP meant for this to descend into a pedal bike type show us thread...

Yep, you might be right.

Yep £500 as the bloke had listed the Wilier on Ebay with the worst advert I'd ever seen, plus the bloke was local me. I didn't even win the auction I got a 2nd chance offer!

Anyway no more pedal talk, we need our on thread for that
