Real. It's a Nordmann Fir, here's a close up pic so you can see that it's a bit different from a normal tree:
 doesn't drop its needles. Has been there a week, and no needle drop yet, I put water in the stand every few days. Will look better when I've painted the wall behind it (top left) and linseed oiled the doors to the den

Fake but I keep meaning to get a real one. It's a good fake we've got but it's not got the smell.

Fake. Lasts longer, less mess , less fire danger, btter for the enviorment, etc.
I do miss having a real tree though. Ed your tree looks ace!

Always a real tree. Always! It smells lovely and the type my dad gets (he knows lots about trees apparently) never really drop their needles!
Don't get how they are bad for the enviroment really, as most places specifically plant trees as Christmas trees, not like the forests are getting chopped down for Christmas trees! I actually helped plant Christmas trees one year!! |
