Forget crumpet - just had a home made scone for brekkie made with real butter, none of your marg nonsense and laced with strong cheddar from a proper cheese supplier not the supermarket, a little thyme, some dry English mustard and black pepper topped with a little more grated cheese. Delicious, and they only took me 5 minutes to make and 10 minutes to bake last night.
