What a fantastic bike!!!! Light, powerful, brilliant suspension, fantastic brakes and no fairing so it will stop me from just going really fast in a straight line. The handling was excellent and unfortunately revealed the substantial shortcomings of the SV (I did enjoy riding that home afterwards though!). Also the induction noise was phenomenal which means that it just doesn't need an aftermarket exhaust. I just must have this bike and white will be the colour. I'm going to wait until the boss and I are in Spain at the end of the month, take her to dinner and then tell her that I'm buying it. I suspect June will be the time as Triumph's year end is the end of June and dealers will all be chasing target. Can't wait!!

cant be arsed to read the whole thread but here is some stuff you will need to know
1/ get as much security on your bike as poss (they are nicked constantly in spain)
2/ every Spanish driver crosses themselves before driving there vehicle (this tells you what they are expecting during there trip)
3/ the roads are awesome, but keep your speeding out of town, they are known for there overkill inside the city limits ( and when the guarda civil stop you, get off kneel down hands on head and only say" el residente" over and over)
4/ fillering is expected and encouraged , so is getting bumped from all sides and behind by cars and lorries
5/ Spanish streets in towns are narrow, therefore most cars are minus there right hand mirror so don't expect them to see you

enjoy its a experience

Maybe. It depends whether I want to shell out the whole lot at once, or pay £500 deposit and then £48 per month for a couple of years, then just swap for another and carry on paying £48 per month. Then at some point in the future I can buy it at the end if I want, because I will still have the money (plus interest) in the bank.

Is that crossroads finance. Made famous by Robert Johnson.
I went down to the crossroads.
"I got down on my knees.
A 675 street R is all I need "
