I wasn't allowed to take the bike to work, mum had a lot to say after seeing a biker hurt real bad yesterday, and it was cold when I got out of work so chickened out of going to Frith Street, sorry.

well made it, perhaps not the best move i've ever made, but hey pains just one of those things you put up with.

all the work on the bike seemed to work OK, so thats a plus.

fair turn out considering the weather, grabbed a handfull of clutch on the way out of Firth St, now that hurt, had to stop for a while until the stars went away.

off to a bath now, try and settle for the night.

Cheers Mark.

I'd have been down, but I was still in Wales at 730.
Didn't really feel like rushing home, so a relaxed 75mph for the last 100 miles.

Perhaps a reference to Ming the merciless

still needed a bit of a pick me up and last night done the trick, does me good to talk of bikes at any time and getting a few positive comment for the beast from passers by never hurts.

feeling better about the world today.

Cheers Mark.

Default Another date

Hi all ! I was dissapointed at being informed that the meet was being postponed. Some folks don't know what bad weather is like.
Snow riding is exciting and fun, so long as you come to no grief.
Remember last yrs Ally Pally show ? It snowed "unexpectedly" on one day, paralyzed half of UK, especialy around N London & M 1.
I had my trusty 1500 'Wing there. It had almost dissapeared from sight when I left the show. Buried in snow. After clearing the controls and seat, I rode off, and was only 30 mins late home. The heated grips, warm clothing, weather protection really came into their own that day, and listening to the radio, hearing about all those snarl ups of traffic, I was very happy to be on two wheels.
So, another date will have to be fixed for our get together, and we are really looking forward to it, especially the free food bit.
Have you noticed the size of most Gold Wingers. ?

We are there every week Pete regardless of the weather (or some of us are anyway) and I don't even live in London anymore . So it doesn't matter which one it is

It should be noted that the size of the Soho Massive wallet is inversely proportional to the size of most Gold Wingers .
