I feel as if I left and missed the good part (or at least the part involving the controversy). Its a bit like leaving the ground 2 minutes before the whistle and having Thierry Henry score an injury time hat-trick.

So what went on? Was it just noise and can-popping or was it more serious (wheelies & burnouts)?

Also, maybe we should strike up a few conversations with the old bill next week to gently gain their impressions of weekly events in the area. If they start to intimate that more stringent policing of the area (warnings etc) might be coming into play then at least we'd know and forewarned is forearmed as they say.

Incidentally, my flatmate Toby has just surfaced while I write this and recounted his tale of being in Soho last night (after Id left) and nearly getting run over by a 'yellow one like yours, Matt'. Not too happy about this statement by the way...

It's not an entirely happy bunny right now, but it'll be fine soon.

You didn't do anything my dear, apart from riding it properly. It was me being a daft cow and forgetting I was on a bigger bike than an SV with a far more experienced rider. Anyway, not wishing to influence a sale or otherwise, it's a lovely set of wheels.

Hmmm.... a yellow curvy one, that nearly runs pedestrians over. Who could that possibly be?

.... completely unrelated... did anyone see Ricardo last night?

Hi guys - always good to see everyone. Glad to see you out and about again Matt.

Re comments on behaviour - there are a lot of different groups carrying on in different ways - and most of them meet at the Ace on Fri thru to Sun at some point. There are more traffic cops hanging around the Ace so I'm sure they are aware from recent run-ins there who is who and who's doing what.

Anyhows, I'm sure it'll get worked out.

The Soho venue was being used long before we moved in...... It's just that we seem to be the "early shift" as the VD mob generally seem not to get there until later.
