I can understand the refund bit as you paid in for less than a year - that's fairly standard. Shame you were not there for just over the 12 months or you'd probably get a bit more, but at least it'll help with the tax bill.

Surprisingly (or maybe not), she has accepted hospitality from the tobacco industry and is against anti-smoking legislation in general (including smoking in cars with children). Good grief.
