Re: Vintage film cameras
Cult following I think. Easy to use, decent lens with good results. I think the mju ii is way over hyped, amazing results but not the best to use. I need to run another roll through the 500G, been a couple of years since I used it last and I've put new seals in it since then. Next on my list to use is the FM, still sitting on the table in the living room. Did you hear that Lomography has started to shut its stores? Looks like they are moving to online only.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I like the 500G; small, fits in a pocket, easy to use. I've still got an unfinished B&W roll in mine from China in 2017. I should reseal the FM and have a go with it too. Never used a Nikon.
I saw the posts about Lomography but I also think some shops will still stock their stuff. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
To be honest I didn't look too closely, f1.4 is always a good thing and more or less in your neck of the woods, leave the decisions to you!
Went for a walk last night but only took a couple of pics. We've had two child-free weekends on the bounce which is pretty weird. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
You might get lucky and make up for the SRT.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Any joy on the Minolta bundle? Had a play with the OM1 and it seems it has gotten sticky due to lack of use. I few blank shots fired and it loosened up.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Will find out tomorrow on the Minolta.
Yep, the problem with having lots of cameras. They all need regular exercise. |
