Re: The running thread.
It's a brilliant method of clearing the head ain't it? Also, first it gets easier, then you get quicker and it gets harder again as the urge to get even faster takes hold!

Re: The running thread.
Just a short run round my usual loop of 3.7 miles from Thursday. Lovely crisp run in early morning sunshine and birdsong.
Stopped on top of the allt to watch a solitary male lapwing displaying and then on the bridge heading back into the village to stare at and listen to the river burbling past under me. |

Re: The running thread.
I was in Norfolk this weekend. Managed to get a run in this morning with my missus. Just under 8 miles. Really nice run. Pics on Strava.

Re: The running thread.
Out this morning for a loop of just over 6 miles on one of my older trails. Nice run, most of the mud has dried up now. Took it steady and had a bit of a plod round. very enjoyable and just what was needed.

Re: The running thread.
Went out tonight but it was cold rain so only did 2 miles. It was feeling good apart from the coldness

Re: The running thread.
Well done for getting out there in the first place Darren.
I don't mind running in the rain and cold as long as I have the right kit on. I hate getting caught out halfway round a run with no waterproof jacket. |

Re: The running thread.
It was my head that was bothering me most. It's too thin up there these days

Re: The running thread.
I have a thin, but warm running hat for the cold weather.

Re: The running thread.
Out this morning for a short 3.6 mile run in company with a couple of fellow Powys Canicrossers. Lovely run around the trails of Gregynog Hall. We're going to go back again soon as there are loads of inviting looking trails to explore. I reckon we could put together a 10 mile run there.
Lots of ups and downs there with some lovely views from the tops. |
