I got good results with both Jupiter 8 and Sonnar 50mm f2 (basically the same) on my Kiev. Much more like a "modern" SLR lens than a Tessar.

I think I solved the light leak issue on the Kiev 88. Its coming in through the dark slide slot. Needs new light seals. Shot from the taped up 88.

Looks nice. My Box Tengor came yesterday, pretty good, I can put a film straight in it. Also came with a grubby Brownie and an old Instamatic 155 like my old mam used to have, nasty piece of junk but clean and working. The Tengor has a lot of features for a box camera (it's the last one Zeiss did) - cable release socket, flash sync, tripod socket, double exposure lock, three distance ranges (by adding in lenses inside) and three apertures from f9 to f22 (stops that swing into place). By allowing a wider aperture, the distance settings are necessary as the DoF is smaller. I think they're something like 6-20ft, 10-40 and 20-infinity, and not sure which aperture they refer to.

I wouldn't mind a Zeiss Box but they keep jumping out of my reach. But then again I've got quite a few box type cameras. I've got more film to scan as I had sent off the 88 and Perkeo films.

A few more from the 88

It performs well when it doesn't leak!

Voigtlander Perkeo:

Got an OM1 body listed, I would have included a lens but I haven't got on that hasn't got some sort of defect. I did find a Balda Baldina rangefinder at the re-use shop for a fiver. I checked the Prakticas and they had an LTL3 up there.

Cheers all. I might list one of the Canon Sureshot A1 cameras (I have three) as they seem to be selling well at the moment. Now if I only had the plates for mine!303055284591
