Re: Vintage film cameras
Have you guys seen this? A colleague in Jessops brought it to my attention. Had a quick play with it last night to colourise some old black and white photos, it's a bit hit and miss but you can get some good effects.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Wasn't aware of that one, will have a look when I have my pc on next. I got pretty woman'd at the car boot today. Browsing the stalls I spotted a Minolta case. As I picked it up the seller said "that isn't cheap". Admittedly I wasn't dressed my best but don't assume what I do or do not have in my pocket. Turned out to be a Minolta SRT101X with 50mm f2. I left it there partly because of his attitude and the hefty price tag. I did manage to pick up a Pentacon 1.8/50 Auto M42 lens for £3 so I've stuck it on the spare MX for now.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I found one of these new and sealed at the tip reuse shop for £30.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plustek-740.../dp/B002DUAQYA Scans are a lot sharper than the Epson 2450 I have been using:

Re: Vintage film cameras
That reuse shop sounds like a treasure trove.
Shame you missed out on the joblot. Some nice stuff in there. Have put all my presets back into the EM10. It's taken a couple of days but after 2 years, I'm beginning to understand the menu system. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yeah, it went for £79. I was fiddling with the new scanner and missed the end. It is a treasure trove, no cameras though today. I did see a load of old Practika cameras at the boot sale though. The scanner isn't like a digital camera type scanner, it has a proper moving scanner inside and it came bundled with Silverlight software as well.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I was playing around with the latest OM2 and popped a lens on it, not sure if it's the batteries but it locked up again. You lot up to anything interesting?

Re: Vintage film cameras
In other news our store had a refit last week and we now have a c35 process machine. I might be shooting more film!
