Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Managed to complete a basic service on the SV today. It's due a valve check but that's not something I want to tackle myself. Whoever designed the plug placement on the twinspark motor is sadistic lol

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Heh, to be honest I don't find the twin-spark motor is more tricky than the single-spark, you've still got to remove the seat & lift the tank to get at the rear cylinder anyway
Now, the person who designed the V-Strom is a proper sadist. You have to unbolt & drop the front fairing / headlight cowl so that you can remove all the plastic side covers, and only then can you access the front cylinder and get at the tank to lift it! |

Off to collect a 6' x 8' greenhouse for my garden. Dismantled ready to go for £50. Happy days!

Arrived back safely, and didn't break a single pane of glass. It even has all the nuts, bolts, brackets, and glass clips with it.

I still carry a can of puncture repair when I go out. Doesn't take up much room. It doesn't always work but more often than not it does.
