Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Listing something on eBay as UK only and someone from northern Ireland buys it and costs me a sodding fortune in postage literally just gave away something especially harsh when I have sod all money at the moment.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Hermes is the same cost to NI.
I always put in this in my listings ""Postage" comprises of Postage + Packaging + Person Packing + eBay fees on postage + PayPal fees on postage + transport to the drop off point. Please contact me prior to purchases if you are ordering from the Highlands, Islands or outside of the UK mainland as postage may cost more." They ignore it but having pressed BUY IT NOW I ask for the extra via an invoice, no extra = no post just cancell the transaction as at their request.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
£23 does seem very expensive.

I either use
https://www.senditnow.com/ Or Parcelmonkey senditnow does work out cheaper for bigger items most of the time, and you can specify drop off or collection. Drop off being cheaper

Patents who call their children 'mate.' As in, "Don't do that, mate"
I thought mate was a word (other than the sexual sense) used to underline a closer bond than would otherwise be perceived. Why downgrade your children to 'mate' status? |
