Re: The random rideout pictures thread
My first run of the year. I did less than 200 miles and my tyre is shagged. F**k
I knew it was getting low, but not that low. It's only done 3000 miles from new Only other pic I got was this one in Glen Isla I then headed over Glen Shee to Braemar, where the petrol station was closed! I had ~20 miles of range and Aberdeen was 60 miles away, so I went in to uber-efficiency mode. I always though ~50mph was the most fuel efficient, but I was only getting 40mpg. So I slowed down and found I was getting 63mpg at 40mph, and 73mpg at 30mph! Quite impressed with that. I pootled along for about 15 miles like that, then found an old lady standing beside a farmers fuel fill up. Thank god! Thrashed it back to Aberdeen because I was tired and freezing, which is probably where the last of my rubber went Any suggestions for what tyre to get? |

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Yeah they were all after the little old lady. I wasn't sure if they would be open since the Braemar station shut at 5pm

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Stunning day today! Over west it was absolutely scorching. I couldn't get my jacket off when I stopped at Loch Rannoch
This is a panoramic but I chopped it in half to upload it |
