Re: Vintage film cameras
I hope the SRT and lens are OK. Having encouraged you, I'll feel guilty if they're not.
Can't find the other item though. What was it? Somebody local was selling a Yashica FX3 with 50mm DSB for £15 .... couldn't resist. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Its a Zeiss Box Tengor 6x4.5 medium format. Don't feel guilty, I'm sure it will be OK.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Ah, a box camera, 120. Not too familiar with those, which is a good thing perhaps. Don't want to feed the addiction.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Medium format equivalent of point and shoot. Produce a truly vintage look.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Definitely a unique feel to those images. I need to try out some of my older 35mm cameras for a change.
Having seen that other SRT + lens - 133079572039 - couldn't resist putting an offer in on that. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Have you already shot with it Kenzie? That was quick!
Durst no.3 turned up today, to much wifely mirth. Looks good, a little bit of fungus but otherwise glass is good, the rest works, even the self-timer. Needs a good clean on the outside. Certainly been used, there are sufficient witness marks from where the wind lever has come back too far, and flashes have been put on and off. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
No, that's from a Kodak Brownie of some description. I've bought a few over a few days and got a offer in on something else but I doubt they'll bite. Probably spent £30 odd quid in the last couple of days.

Re: Vintage film cameras
My Box Tengor arrived today. It's tiny! I actually thought I'd been sent a 127 camera it's so small. Can't wait to shoot it. It's a late model type 54 dated between 1933 and 1939. Adjustable focus and apertures. The OM40 arrived too but seems to be jammed. Decent batteries in but it won't wind or fire. Battery check and meter work though.
