Made me smile yesterday. The car had a scrape on the bumper needed fixing. Between being booked in and going to be fixed the rear passenger door was pushed in by a little wooden post in a car park. They have a paintless repair specialist that can fix this kind of minor dent and the repair is perfect. And only cost £95+VAT which is a bargain! The other scrape also looks great after repair, but at quite a bit more cost.

I hadn't realised I was bothered by scratches and dents so much, but I'm really pleased they're fixed.

Kinda thing I need for two scrapes on my car, not big, but irritating

Unlike the front bumper which was an insurance job, even though it wasn't that bad, it was big enough to warrant a claim

The dent thing is called a 'paintless repair' where the paint is not damaged but you have a dent. They get the panel back to shape by voodoo it seems. The guy who owns the repair centre is a bit in awe of this guy, who he gets in when he has a full day of paintless repairs to do.

I should also say how pleased I am with the colour match of an unusual colour "Honey Gold" on our car, where it did need paint. Press photo of my car in that colour below

I had one of those paintless dent removals done on my last car. Agree on the voodoo bit as I could not see where it had been at all.

First ride on the bike for 6 weeks. Oh my, what a feeling, carving through the S-bends on the A41 down to Whitchurch, opening it up for the exits, hearing the Yoshi can bark and growl. It was one of those rides where you truly find yourself 'in the moment.'

It didn't! Long story, but the surgical multidisciplinary team discussed my scans & case, and decided that a non-surgical approach (targeted radiotherapy etc) was the best overall approach.

I'm comfortable with the decision as I was never quite sure that surgery was the ideal option for me. We'll see how it goes.
