Made use of the rain this afternoon to move all the shelves around in my garage. Thankfully I used twinslot uprights for them all so it was a matter of moving the brackets up, down or off to fit better around Bullseye. His bars/knuckle guards and mirrors are a lot higher than Hugh's, and wider. Thankfully I can park him up closer to the wall now so I can get between him and the bicycles without contorting myself like a demented limbo dancer.

"Tenet" (the film). I have now seen it twice and I think another 3 or 4 times and I may be able to keep up with the plot. I have the overall gist but get a bit baffled in the last 20 mins. It's a time travel scenario and, if you haven't seen it, it is currently on iPlayer.

My SOTD: I took Son's Curvy for MOT today - straight pass, hurrah!

So my first riding of the year is now done - 4 miles through town and back

(Less than 900 miles in the year for the bike, most of that by me taking it out on a few occasions. An effect of him working away without anywhere to safely keep a bike, sadly. But potentially good for me: In return for my 'maintenance and storage services', hopefully, he'll let me rack up some more miles this summer - well, I've proved today my wet weather gear still fits so I'm ready for British summer conditions aren't I?)

RIP SV650 X curvy, crashed and written off December 2019.
I'm (procrastinating about) fixing up an old Yamaha FZ600 to get myself fully back on the road.

Well...
...at one point there's a car chase with time moving in one direction for the good guys and it moving in the opposite direction for the bad guys and wait till you see a battle going on with the same premise (explosions first then the ordnance reforming into shells/bullets) ...

Er, no thanks. I struggle to keep up with something as simple as a Bourne movie...

Bullseye update - 300 miles. Had a nice 200 mile day out in my quest to get the running-in done ASAP so I can use all the revs. Even with just 5k to play with the 800 is a stonking engine. 62mpg and I've not noticed any of the vibes some have mentioned on the Strom forums. It may be the reduced revs but I find the quick shifter is clunky until you're moving up to fourth at my 5k enforced ceiling, and coming down the box is stiff and very clunky. I'll mention it to the dealer at the 600 mile service in case it needs a tweak but if I end up using the clutch instead it will hardly phase me. The suspension is pretty soft so front dive is noticeable but not a problem, and the setup is quite good over potholes, which is a result. No numb bum after my day out too so the seat seems to suit me well.

So far so good.

Car insurance renewed. 1st Central were £217 last year and wanted £297 this year. Quick search via Confused.com took me to Moja who charged me........£217. I'll settle for that.

Just had my renewal notice from Carol Nash. It's gone down by £60.
