My bike insurance is with Carol Nash. I'll be interested to see what the quote is when it's due up next month.

Are you ready for a look at John Richardson in the bath?
You may need to turn the sound on this tweet/X vid.

I've only got the one vehicle and my SV Insurance was about the same as last year. My 25 year old SV650 just sailed through M.O.T with a couple of minor advisories e.g. Rear tyre about 1.5 mm from wear markers but Steve my MOT guy is always cautious, which I like

Just had a £100 win on me premium bonds so sent for a new rear Pirelli Angel ST for a change

Will give me a chance to try out me Homemade Tyre/Wheel lifter,

I hate having to lift the rear wheel to get the Axle back in!

Also recently bought one of these. Great little thingy,

Amazon tip: Got it sent to my local post office so got free postage

A cordless pump - must be so much easier than the long-lead-to-cig-lighter one I used to have (was a present). It broke first time I used it... Keep us posted RR as i may well get one for my daughter. Personally, being a bit old school, I keep a manual foot pump in the back of my car.

My SOTD is we don't have to have our drive dug up. Cadent are going around the whole estate fitting inner linings to the older gas pipes. Our line was moved 17 years ago when we had an extension put on and I had a terrible feeling the builders may have bodged a join but the foreman was happy when they dug up the pavement outside as it looked like the revised layout was done by them/British Gas, so the inner sleeve went straight in. Yay.

Used it on my Bicycle and SV and it works a treat. Used about 1 charge bar so far from full charge. Uses the USB C type charge cables ( comes with a short one) which I prefer. Fits under SV's rear seat and I keep a tyre repair plug kit under there as well.

Next door's cat ran off before I could try it.......

I like me ,"Farkles" so have fitted a couple of these,

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166263277...sAAOSwx8ZiTrDS

and when I fitted my last rear tyre I fitted one on these. Total game changer for pumping up M/C tyres and have one ready when I do the front.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, may I present my Kismet Popular pump, inherited from my Dad, age unknown (60+ years?) but works great. Made in UK (back when we actually made things). No charging required (maybe a good breakfast)

I love old stuff that still works

A recent post on another forum I'm on asked about things we still have and are old and of value so I posted my 33 Year old Remington Hairdryer still working!!!

Still drying my hair and speeding up jobs on the Motorcycle like curing twin pack epoxy/putty faster and warming my Jacket and gloves before I ride in the cold months etc

I bought one of those lifts on your recommendation. Works a treat on my Transalp although I haven't made a wooden frame like yours.
