That's good to know

It's the one part of changing a rear tyre I really dislike. As one of my early jobs in my youth was as a Tyre-Fitter I enjoy doing my own tyres.

Also another tricky bit single handed is clamping to the beads on refit so I've got some of these ready as well,

OK. Will try and remember to chronicle it but there are videos on YouTube as well plus the WSM.

Bear in mind that you need either a decent powered air-compressor or transport to take the wheel to a Garage/Petrol station with an Airline otherwise getting the tyre to inflate and then seat the beads is virtually impossible.

I will try to inflate the rear tyre when I do it with the little USB one I previously posted but doubt it will do it but will see

I have a set of these Tyre Spoons/Rim savers

and always use some of this,

Tyre Mounting Paste eBay

I break the beads using this method but outside so use a bit of old carpet under the wheel to protect it.

The Civic rims started seeping with age.I used to break the seal by putting a board onthe edge of the rim and then driving up the board and tthenthe usually the seal would then give. To reseal a bead I used gutter sealant Always seemed to work and easy to clean off when a new tyre fitted

"Losing the plot"

In my conservatory there is a small gap in the panelling and a house spider lives there. He/she makes a messy web near my door but I am tolerant of this. I am starting to question my own sanity when I started putting water out for it. I laughed but I've carried on doing it.
House spiders can get enough food but can find it a problem getting water which is why you find them in the bathroom so often. My conservatory will hit >90°F so I supply water, as you may have guessed I live alone. My ex-wife was not so spider tolerant.
