SotD. An insurance quote from Bennetts for £60 less than the renewal quote from Carole Nash.

A smile yesterday was finding the car chargers at my client's offices are now free. So car charged to 100% for the trip home (only need 40%) so happy about that.

After my GoTD yesterday I should explain why I was in Stroud. After 3 years of hassle and cancellations my wife finally got her balloon ride that I bought for her 60th. There aren't many companies that offer wheelchair flights so choice was limited.
Having said all that the flight yesterday was very enjoyable as we flew from the car park (really) at Frome bridge Mill and landed near Furze Wood. The landing was rough due to the wind picking up.
Would I book a balloon flight again. Probably not as the uncertainty of when the flight would happen is frustrating.

Years ago the lad booked one and it never happened,I think in the end they just let it go. Afraid easy come ,easy go is their mentality.

I'm not a fan of KT, but like you I saw the original broadcast on Later and I was very impressed.

She doesn't get the credit she deserves for her pioneering use of loop pedals, and they are very unforgiving if you're even just a quarter of a second out with your timing.

Nice setting. Shame it's so far away from me.

Hope the event raised a few quid for such a good cause.
