I think I will have to, considering the axle stands and flipped pegs method but worried they won't take the weight.
Yes, and a lot more stable. The swingarm nuts are usually on pretty tight, so you don't want your bike falling off some wobbly axle stands.

They are worth the small expenditure.

Looking at your bike I wished I'd managed to get a curvy now rather than the pointy I have

After switching out my headlights I now find the little sidelights annoying as they're not as clean looking as the main lamps. Does anyone have a recommendation for replacement sidelights that are a cleaner white?

Waiting on a rear hugger so will be able to update again soon - might even put up some pics for once.

Pickup some LED ones, crisp white.

Been beavering away in the garage for the last two days stripping off fairings then performing coolant flush, oil and filter change along with a major decrease of the engine underside and swingarm and rear wheel thanks to a previously overzealous chain oiler. It has kept everything very corrosion free however.

Rear puncture, so had the tyre off, got it repaired and cleaned all the area up before putting the wheel back in and adjusting the chain a 1/3rd of a turn.

As it was neither raining nor blowing a gale I was able to:
Strip and refurbish the starter motor,
Replace the battery,
Replace the spark plugs,
Replace the clutch lifter,
Change oil and filter.

Not having an indoor workspace means saving the jobs up, especially in winter.

Spent 3 hours cleaning the engine. It's still not completely spotless but at least I may now be able to see where the oil is coming from! Used about 2 litres of Gunk and 2 buckets of warm water. That area around the sprocket and gear lever was solid with crapola

Stripped the pads out of the front brakes for an inspect and clean, all good, also took the air box off and cleaned and lubed the throttle linkages and lubed the cables.

By clutch lifter do you mean this:

Or this?:

I feel your pain with working outside. People with sheds and garages don't know how lucky they are!
