Don't be too excited about the ALDI self-inflating mat. I've got one, and although it's cheap, it's no Thermarest.

I've just spent £25 on one of these mats and a new down bag for use on the bike, and it's a much better mat which packs up smaller - worth every penny.

Getting you off the ground keeps you a lot warmer, not to mention comfier... It really is amazing the difference it makes.

air bed all the way ppls

If you ask really nicely I've got a spare single airbed if someone wants to borrow it it can be brought.
