Does the flash rotate on that?

Re: Vintage film cameras
It wasn't so expensive, especially compared to the OM2sp it replaced.
Cameras in Japan were cheaper than here (good exchange rate in them days) and were a couple of years ahead in terms of technology. Also, the Japanese like and trust Japanese. That camera I think was made in Malaysia; assembled in Japan. So, not popular and therefore, cheaper. Believe it or not. I've never been to a car boot sale in my life but there are 3 within 10 miles of me on Sunday. Maybe I need to get out more. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Think you should, you will be amazed at what you can find. Trying to find some slides so I can test my scanner.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I've never thought about scanning slides. So it's possible? in enough detail?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Indeed, am watching it. Would seem a shame to knacker a good camera but I also suspect the price will rocket in the last 24 hours.
Yes you can scan slides. Some people use slide film like the apparently-legendary Velvia instead of colour negative as it is slower but said to give the best colours, then scan them, they don't even have projectors. Last edited by johnnyrod; 07-05-16 at 07:33 PM. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
It would be a shame as they don't come up very often. Flash bar for my Polaroid didn't work. Took three photos last night and all useless.
