Went to Oulton Park yesterday afternoon with the camera for something to do. It lasted about 10 minutes as it absolutely chucked it down. Made a hastey retreat on the SV

You're right John. Looking at it again, I think it's the angled stripyness of it with the berries, if you see what I mean.

In early today to photograph James Taylor - who used to play for England until he was diagnosed with a serious heart problem which resulted in his immediate retirement. He's still adjusting to life with a defibrillator fitted and having no driving licence. So today I took some promo photos as a favour for the Professional Cricketers Association before work. As a thank you they have invited me and a guest to the end of season awards. Which is lovely, except I now have to go frock shopping as it's a very swanky black tie do. I'm taking my manager as my +1 - I've warned him it goes on until 3am!

I went to the wonderfully named Super Sausage Cafe on the A5 between Milton Keynes and Towcester on Sunday. It was Suzuki Classic Day and there were some lovely Kettles and other stink wheels there, as well as a cracking Ice Cream Van GS1000. But, one bike was causing much dribblage by bikers of a certain age such as myself. Check out the guy in the grey t-shirt on the wall - this was a typical expression.

More pics later as I'm busy getting the ridiculous pile of stuff together for the trip to Brighton on Saturday (the Monkey is starting her second year at uni).
